How to Make Marble Butter Cake with Simple Ingredients

Bake the perfect Marble Butter Cake with this simple guide, a delightful blend of chocolate and vanilla for any occasion.

150g Butter

275g Sugar

5ml Vanilla Extract

4 Eggs

160g Milk

280g Flour

2 tsp (10g) Baking Powder

2g Salt

30g Cocoa Powder


The Batter

  1. Cream together the butter, sugar, and vanilla extract.
  2. One by one, add the eggs, mixing after each addition.
  3. In another bowl, combine the flour, salt, and baking powder.
  4. Alternately add the dry mixture and milk to the batter three times.
  5. Mix between each addition.
  6. Mix until the batter is homogenous.
  7. Pour half of the batter into another bowl.
  8. Sift in the cocoa powder and combine.
  9. There are now two batters: chocolate and vanilla.

The Marble Effect

  1. Grease and line with parchment paper a bread loaf pan.
  2. Add a couple of big scoops of the vanilla batter to the mold.
  3. Add about the same quantity of chocolate batter in the center.
  4. Spread it out slightly to help you keep going, then continue until you run out of batter.
  5. Shake the molds slightly to obtain a flatter top.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 50 minutes.

Cutting Slices

  1. Remove from the oven and set aside to cool completely.
  2. Cut into slices and serve with milk, tea, or coffee.
  3. Enjoy!
