- Pulse
- Add the cubes of butter and the shortening
- Pulse until the pieces of butter are the size of peas
- Add the water and pulse until the dough starts to come together
- Devise the dough in two balls
- Cover and refrigerate 30minutes

- Roll out one of the two balls you formed to a thickness of 3mm.
- Prick holes all over
- Place it in a 9inch pie mold
- Press the sides so the dough takes the form of the mold
