Ingredients

1x Egg

130g / ½ cup + 2 tbsp Sugar

120ml / 4oz Hot water

90g / ¾ cup Flour

30g / ¼ cup Cocoa powder

60g / ¼ cup Butter

Instructions

Chocolate Waffle Cone Batter:

  1. Whisk the egg and the sugar until light and fluffy
  2. Add in the hot water
  3. Sift in the flour and the cocoa powder
  4. Add in the melted butter
  5. Mix well and refrigerate 30 minutes

Baking The Waffle Cone:

  1. Preheat your waffle cone maker
  2. When the heat is medium to medium-hot add 2 tablespoons of batter
  3. After about 2 minutes, flip it
  4. It will help it cook more evenly
  5. Take it out
  6. Immediately form it into what you want it to be
  7. Wrap it around a cone shape to make a waffle cone, place it in a bowl or roll it into a cigar!
